The Color LCD Display Screen Gold Century Metal Detector with a fixed color pattern when combined with black/white dynamic pattern lets the LCD display the probable type of metal with an arrow indicating the probable depth of the metal target based on signal strength. The Model # GC1026 features a sensitivity setting level (SENS), DISC/NOTCH range, the detecting mode, and low battery symbol.Display Features:The LCD displays are located at the top of the control housing. They can indicate coins of different type. When the detector detects an object, an arrow will appear on the screen below at the target icon of the probable type of metal being detected.The five ellipses in the middle of LCD will be effected when pressing the SET touchpad, at which time the two SENS symbols one on the left side of LCD and the other on the right side will light also. The ellipses functions as the indication of the sensitivity level. If the search coil detects a coin-sized target, the SENS symbol at right side will extinguish when the DEPTH symbol lights, the ellipses indicate the probable depth or the signal strength.The contents inside the five ellipses are just visual levels for reference.TONE AUDIO DISCRIMINATION:This will Sound distinctive tones for different categories of metal to make target identification easier.TWO DISTINCT DETECTION SYSTEMS:ALL- METAL ( Non – Motion Mode)When the detector is held still over any type of metal target, a constant medium tone will be heard.
